Portrait of Ny'Andrea Dyer

Her Life Had Purpose.
Her Legacy Will Create Change.

NAH11 STOP THE VIOLENCE CORP.

Founded in memory of Ny'Andrea Dyer, an 11-year-old whose life was taken by senseless gun violence — turning unimaginable loss into meaningful action for young people.

Our Mission

NAH11 Stop the Violence Corp. works to prevent senseless violence against youth through education, mentorship, community engagement, youth leadership, positive development, and violence-prevention initiatives.

We are committed to helping create communities where children can learn, play, dream, and grow without fear of violence.

Founded by Ny'Andrea's mother, NAH11 exists to protect, educate, mentor, and empower young people while bringing communities together to prevent violence.

Our Story

Ny'Andrea Dyer

Ny'Andrea as a toddler with her mother and sister
"Rather than allowing that pain to be the final chapter of Ny'Andrea's story, she chose to build something that could help protect other children."
— On Ny'Andrea's mother, founder of NAH11

Ny'Andrea was an innocent child who became a victim of violence she had no part in creating. She was struck by a stray bullet while sitting inside a vehicle and later lost her life from her injuries. She was just 11 years old.

For Ny'Andrea's mother, losing her daughter created a pain that words cannot fully describe. NAH11 Stop the Violence Corp. was born from her decision to turn that loss into lasting protection for other children.

The organization transforms remembrance into action by investing in young people, educating communities, promoting peaceful conflict resolution, creating positive opportunities, and encouraging everyone to take a role in preventing senseless violence.

Our Values

What guides our work

Youth First

Children deserve to feel safe, valued, heard, and protected.

Prevention

We believe preventing violence requires education, opportunity, intervention, mentorship, and community action.

Hope

Young people must be able to see possibilities beyond their current circumstances.

Community

Preventing violence is not the responsibility of one organization. It requires families, schools, neighborhoods, organizations, businesses, and community leaders working together.

Legacy

We honor Ny'Andrea by creating opportunities for other children to live, grow, dream, and thrive.

Action

Awareness matters, but awareness must lead to action.
